NutraScienceWatch articles are written and reviewed by the NSW Editorial Team, an internal editorial group operated by Genomax LLC under the Editorial Standards policy.
How the team operates
The NSW Editorial Team works as a collective. Articles are not bylined to individual authors because:
- Article accuracy is governed by sourcing and methodology, not by individual credentials
- Cross-review by a second team member is required before publication
- The methodology is the byline
Team credentials
The editorial team members hold combinations of the following:
- Graduate-level training in biochemistry, pharmacology, or nutritional science
- Working experience reading and synthesizing peer-reviewed pharmacology literature
- Familiarity with FDA dietary supplement regulation and FTC Endorsement Guides
- Compliance training on disease-claim avoidance and structure/function rules
We do not list individual names because:
- Individual identification is not material to article verifiability
- The team's review process (see How We Review) provides the accountability layer
- Personal exposure is not required for editorial accountability under FTC guidelines
What the team does NOT have
- Medical degrees or active medical practice
- Naturopathic or clinical license
- Personal supplement recommendations to readers
We are an editorial team translating peer-reviewed research into reader-accessible explainers. We are not a clinical-care substitute.
How readers can verify article accuracy
Every article carries:
- Inline PubMed PMIDs for every quantitative claim
- A citations section at the article end
- A changelog noting every revision since publication
- An H1-adjacent disclosure of our relationship to Genomax LLC
Readers can click any PMID to verify the underlying paper. If the cited paper does not support the article's claim, please email corrections@nutrasciencewatch.com — we treat citation errors as the highest-severity correction category.
Editorial separation from product line
The NSW Editorial Team operates separately from the Genomax LLC product team:
- Topic selection is editorially driven, not product-launch driven
- A new Genomax LLC SKU does not trigger an NSW article
- An NSW article does not promote Genomax LLC products beyond a single contextual link with FTC disclosure
- The editorial team has no sales targets or affiliate revenue quotas
